January 17, 2010 -- Following their having charted her debut CD’s title track in the top 50 of their Top 100 Songs of 2009, MusicTampaBay.com is featuring Melissa as their Artist of the Week.
One song from Melissa’s “Waiting” CD will be played each hour, 24/7, through this coming Sunday, January 24. A picture and brief comments are included on the homepage of that website.
“I’m honored to be spotlighted in this way by MusicTampaBay.com,” Melissa said. “It’s a great opportunity for more people to be exposed to my music, but it also means a lot to me because it’s being done by an outlet that puts such an emphasis on supporting the arts locally.”
MusicTampaBay.com was recently written about in a feature story by the St. Pete Times. Coincidentally, *TBT (Tampa Bay Times), which is published by the St. Pete Times, featured Melissa as the Artist of the Day last month.

Visitors to MusicTampaBay.com can also vote once each day for the song "Waiting" for results that determine the Big Bay 99 and primary playlist for the following week.
