August 27, 2010 -- Melissa was interviewed and then performed today for the taping of a national TV appearance that will air next Tuesday morning (Aug. 31). That’s not the only notice she’s getting though.
Daytime, which airs in more than 110 TV markets across the U.S., this morning taped the show that will air this coming Tuesday, August 31, with Melissa as one of the guests. Hosts Dave Nemeth and Cyndi Edwards interviewed Melissa, who then performed “After All This Time.”

The hope is to eventually post the segment online, on Melissa’s YouTube channel and/or one of her other websites.
The day after her appearance on Daytime airs, the September edition of Focus Magazine will come out, with a full-page feature on Melissa.
Focus Magazine has been getting published for eight-and-a-half years now and has a projected readership of 225,000 each issue. Focus Magazine is committed to an emphasis on positive stories about “those that inspire us and to bettering our community.”
Watch the In The Media portion of the About section of Melissa's website for that article to get posted once available.
In addition to Daytime and Focus, a website for “contemporary, progressive, and crossover female vocalists” has (just 12 days ago) published a good review of Melissa’s “Waiting” CD. In the lengthy write-up on MusicalDiscoveries.com it is said that, “Singer songwriter albums arrive for listening by our staff daily. Melissa Brethauer’s debut recording, a stunning eleven track offering entitled Waiting, has proven itself to be one that stands above the crowd.”
