December 1, 2010 -- Melissa’s latest appearance in the media is in the books but is still leaving its mark.
Just a couple weeks removed from her successful Alabama trip, Melissa was in her own backyard this time, with an appearance on “Orlando Live” three nights ago. Show co-host Shea Stewart did a brief interview with Melissa, who then performed “Away From You,” one of her newer songs. (See a video of her performing that song at the event in Alabama in the Video portion of the Multimedia section of this website)

That wasn’t the last of Melissa’s on-screen time during “Orlando Live,” however.
Another musical act appeared on the show, and through “Orlando Live’s” Facebook page, fans/viewers were casting votes – prior to and during the show – for who they wanted to see in a post-show/encore performance. Melissa won the vote and came back on to perform another one of her newer songs, “To Know You Better,” whose TV debut had come in her appearance on the morning show that she’d appeared on in late October on the CBS affiliate in Tampa.
The “Orlando Live” show that Melissa appeared on has remained available on a continuous loop at www.OrlandoLiveStreaming.com but will move to their on-demand player. Plus, 'vimeos' of Melissa performing the two songs are being prepared so that they can be placed on this site and/or through one or more of her social media sites.
The appearance on "Orlando Live" marked four straight months that Melissa has appeared in the media.
Another notable takeaway from Melissa having been on “Orlando Live” is that the show has an agreement with Grooveshark, whereby she will get 5,000 plays through that service. Grooveshark was in TIME’s 50 Best Websites for 2010.
